I had a lot of fun at this wedding. And more importantly, so did the Bride & Groom! It was impossible not to grin with so much colour, laughter and general nonsense throughout the day.
Hannah & Fergus were the 3rd couple from a big group of friends that I have photographed getting married (It started with my friend Rosie marrying Joe in Carlisle, then their groomsman Ben marrying Emma in Liverpool. Fergus had been both of the boys' Best Man, so I was delighted to be part of their day down in Bristol. I'm hoping the next friend gets married evern further afield... maybe in the South of France or somewhere!)
They are a very special couple. Not least because on their 1 Year Anniversary, they made a point of writing me the absolutely wonderful review below. Thank you, and I'll see you 'at the next wedding'!

We already knew Alison from previous weddings we had attended, and basically knew that whenever we got married, we wanted her to do our photos. She's taken some of our favourite pictures of both ourselves and our friends, including a picture of Hannah and I dancing which is taped to my work monitor. As soon as we had a date, she was the first supplier we contacted!
We've seen other people struggle with their photographer, but we knew we were in such a safe pair of hands and felt it every step of the way. No issues, no problems, just 100% positive. Friendly and good natured. She knows exactly what she's doing and made us feel so happy throughout the whole process.
During our zoom call before the wedding we went over all the shots we definitely wanted to get and Alison made sure she knew about any potential family issues so, on the day, she was adept at sidestepping and dealing with any awkward family moments. Hurray!
Alison asked what was important to us for the photographs and we wanted pictures that captured and reflected the true feel of the day. Of course, every single image was absolutely stunning. They really are photos that we cherish and adore.
She got lots of cool photos and tried interesting things, knowing when to give us a wee push and when to make us laugh.
So many of our guests had really nice things to say about Alison; a mix of either "She was charming and funny" or "I didn't even notice her taking pictures" (from the mega awkward guestss!) She took lovely candid shots of our guests having fun and brilliant shots of our band.
