Alison's versatility and passion for her work results in consistent quality across press, architectural, editorial and wedding photography, while the variety of jobs keeps her style fresh and dynamic.
Alison was raised in the Highlands and after time away in Glasgow, Dublin and Derby, she returned North and accepted a post with the Highland News Group, covering such titles as The Highland News, Inverness Courier, Highland Life magazine and The Executive.
After 4 years balancing the newspaper group with her own freelance commissions, it was an easy step for Alison to go fully freelance in 2016. Since then she's traveled the length of the UK, enjoying an eclectic mix of projects, and can now also be spotted running around after her 4 year old.

But there's no doubt that people are my focus, they inspire and energise me.
Starting a project is always exciting, but I am very proud of the relationships I have built up with repeat clients over the years. Some have had me photograph their wedding, then family, then business(es) and I hugely appreciate this trust in me and my photography.

Architectural Rejuvenation
A particular interest of mine is the rejuvenation of seemingly forgotten, beautiful buildings and the associated documentary photography. So, if you are renovating a special building, I would love to help you catalogue the loving redevelopment and in the process provide artwork for the walls of the finished project!
