In September 2019, Kimberley & Michael had an intimate wedding day with their nearest & dearest at Bogbain Farm, Inverness and looked like something straight out of a fairy tale in their photos. And as there were only 20 people present for most of the day, it meant I could spend a lot more time with them all!

Kimberley and all the ladies from both sides of the families spent the wedding morning getting ready at the luxurious Cardon House, Farr, before joining Michael and the rest of their family and friends at the beautiful, rustic wedding venue (and working farm!) The childhood sweethearts took their personal vows under a bespoke bronze archway with a Humanist celebrant and the beautiful promise of "My First, My Last, My Always." And yes, once again I had a tear threatening behind the camera!

Man that dress is SO PRETTY! I'm not a huge follower of fashion, but I must confess that wedding dresses are definitely a soft spot for me. This stunning design from Enzoani's Blue Collection is entitled 'Lavender' and Kimberley found it in Kudos, Dunfermline. Just wait until you see how gorgeous it looks against the tall grasses surrounding Bogbain Farm!

I skipped off ahead of Kimberley and her party to meet Michael and the rest of the ceremony guests at Bogbain Farm, just an easy 10 minute drive from away. As it was just close family and his best friends in attendance, Michael could relax with a few family photos and a drink, and of course help his Dad tie and re-tie his kilt socks! As the girls arrived, everyone dashed inside and I caught a few candid shots of last minute nerves before Kimberley was escorted by her dad & sisters across the cobbles and into the ceremony space. K&M had selected the 'Bike Barn' ceremony space available at Bogbain, which was once a stable block. It retains lots of charming features from its past life, but couples them with natural light, whitewashed walls, reclaimed gym hall flooring, vintage signage and of course, lots of twinkling fairy lights for a bit of magic.

Now that the lovely Roxy had arrived to join in with the new Mr & Mrs Kirby's photos, it was time to take advantage of the beautiful blue skies and long grasses around the farm - a perfect September colour palette to show off this gorgeous couple. Plus the view towards Inverness and the mountains beyond from this vantage point is backdrop that will never get old for me.
